A regional scene, not a single city
Southwest Florida works differently from a metro art market. There is no single downtown gallery row that defines taste. Instead, five counties full of art leagues, guilds and centers each run their own exhibition calendar, and the audience travels between them. Understanding that structure is the whole trick to navigating the region: the interesting work is usually one exit off the highway, in a building you would drive past.
