What this site is
An independent editorial guide to the visual arts scene of Southwest Florida, written for visitors, residents, artists and buyers. It covers how the scene is structured, where to see work, how exhibitions operate and what artists need to know to participate.
What this site is not
It is not an arts council, a membership organization, a nonprofit or a representative body. It has no members, no board and no affiliation with any art league, guild, art center, council or association operating in this region, including organizations with similar initials or similar names. It does not speak for, or on behalf of, any of them.
No commercial interest
We do not sell art, represent artists, take commissions, charge for listings or accept payment for coverage. Nothing here is a paid placement.
How the information is compiled
From public information about the region's arts landscape and general knowledge of how league, guild and gallery systems operate. We deliberately avoid publishing individual names, phone numbers, email addresses, staff rosters or specific hours and fees, because those change constantly and belong to the organizations themselves. Contact any venue directly for current details.
